Redirect Images

Add a Customer Header Logo for each locale to brand your ID Verification page.

Add a Success image and Error image for each locale. This image will be displayed on the Jumio default success and error pages if a unique Success URL and Error URL is not specified. See Application Settings.

Any locale which is not configured will first default to the root language (e.g. EN_GB to EN), then to your default configuration, and finally to the Jumio default.

Criteria for images:

  • All images must be formatted as JPG or PNG
  • All images must not exceed 5 MB.
note

This applies to the Web UI only. Click Save and enter your Jumio Portal password to save the changes. Otherwise, your changes will be reverted.

API Credentials

caution

Using the credentials under the API Users tab is DEPRECATED. While using these credentials for basic authentication with the Jumio REST APIs will continue to work, you are strongly encouraged to use OAuth2 bearer tokens for authentication.

OAuth2 Clients

Generate Client ID and Client Secret pairs that you use to obtain an OAuth2 bearer token. The token can then be used to authenticate calls to the Jumio REST APIs. See Authorization for information on obtaining and using the bearer token.

You can:

  • Create a new Client ID/Client Secret pair by clicking Generate new API token.
  • Select the permissions that will be specified in the bearer token generated for the Client ID/Client Secret pair. The permissions can be to initiate a transaction, retrieve & delete transaction details, or both.
  • Deactivate a Client ID/Client Secret pair.
tip

Click Save and enter your Jumio Portal password to save the changes. Otherwise, your changes will be reverted.

App Showcase

The Jumio Showcase app is available in the app store for your device. If you have installed the app you can open Setup to scan the QR code on the Settings > Identity Verification > App Showcase page open. Scanning the QR code associates the app with your Jumio account. You can then initiate transactions and complete the customer journey on your device. You can then see the completed transactions in the Portal Explorer page. You can choose one of the standard services displayed on the app, or choose Workflow Launcher to initiate a transaction using a custom workflow.

Data Settings

The Data Settings page has two sections:

  • Extracted Fields
  • Data Retention

Extracted Fields

Address Extraction and Identity Verification are optional features. Contact your Jumio Manager or Executive to approve these features.

Mandatory Fields

If enabled, mandatory fields will be returned in the Workflow Details for all Jumio supported IDs. Use the mandatory fields to determine what data points you’d like the system to extract from the images. By default, these settings come enabled for your account.

Optional Fields

If enabled, optional fields will be returned in the Workflow Details under certain conditions. Use the optional fields to determine which data points you’d like the system to extract from the images. By default, these settings come enabled for your account.

Data Retention

Since deleted transactions are irreversible and cannot be retrieved, Data Retention settings can only be changed by our internal team. Contact Support or your Jumio Account Manager/Solution Engineer if you need to change these settings.

When transactions age out of the specified data retention period, images and extracted data will be removed from the transaction record. Metadata including the timestamp, transaction references (both yours and Jumio's), country metadata, document metadata, and the result of the verification are never deleted. Metatdata for deleted transactions is not available from the API or in the Portal, but may be provided in reports available from Jumio Support.

info

Please contact Jumio Support to make changes to your data retention period.

warning
  • Deleting data is irreversible. Deleted transactions cannot be reviewed for quality or troubleshooting purposes.
  • Click Save and enter your Jumio Portal password to save the changes. Otherwise, your changes will be reverted.

Watchlist Screening

The Watchlist Screening capability provides PEPs/Sanctions screening through an integration with ComplyAdvantage. To use it you must have an existing Comply Advantage account. Contact your Jumio Account Manager to discuss setting up a ComplyAdvantage account. Once ComplyAdvantage creates your account, you'll receive a verification email, with a link that will grant you access to your ComplyAdvantage Jumio portal.

The ComplyAdvantage Jumio portal will allow you to update new users, manage API keys and manage your watchlist. See CompyAdvantage Portal Configuration.

Once you have configured your ComplyAdvantage account you provide configuration details in the Jumio Portal by going to Settings > Identity Verification > Watchlist Screening.

info

If you are migrating to the Jumio Platform from an earlier Jumio version, contact Jumio Support to change your ComplyAdvantage user access. It is important to note that the old ComplyAdvantage API key will be deactivated during migration, so the new user must create a new API key from the ComplyAdvantage portal and update it in the Jumio Portal under Settings.

Watchlist Screening Jumio Portal Configuration

Configure the following values:

  • API Key Enter the Key value of an active API Key in the ComplyAdvantage portal.
  • Default Search Profile Enter the Profile ID of the ComplyAdvantage Search Profile that your Jumio Portal transactions will use by default. You can override this value in individual Jumio Platform account requests (see Watchlist Screening capability).
  • Default Fuzziness Choose the level of fuzziness you want to apply to the searches. See What is Fuzziness.
  • Search enabled for approved IDs If enabled, this setting will make it so all transactions that are approved will be screened. Rejected documents will never be screened.
note

The Use Netverify Tags setting is no longer used.

ComplyAdvantage Portal Configuration

The ComplyAdvantage Jumio portal will allow you to update new users, manage API keys and manage your watchlist.

Creating API Keys

API keys are used to allow access to ComplyAdvantage's APIs and to run searches. You can create as many as you want from the ComplyAdvantage portal and they can be deleted at any time by an admin user.

  • Once you've logged into ComplyAdvantage's portal you will have a menu on the left side.
  • Under API, select API Keys
  • From this page, you will be able to manage all of the API keys that are associated with your ComplyAdvantage account.
  • To create a new API key, enter a New Key Label and click Create.

Creating a search profile

You need to create a search profile that defined a collection of the various lists that you want to search against. You can choose which list you want to include in a profile based on your business. Examples could be based on geography or risk levels. There is no limit to the number of lists you can create.

  • Under Settings select Search Profiles. You can manage all of your search profiles from this page.
  • To create a new profile, click Create new profile. See What are search profiles? in the ComplyAdvantage documentation.
